Once a brewery starts taking on employees, they will find out pretty quickly that health and retirement benefits are necessary to attract and retain the best people. Is there a strategy to how a firm should organize these benefits? How much should the employees pay for their share of health? How much of a match on 401k benefits should I consider? Are there tax implications I should think about? Please share your expertise, successes and failures to these important questions.
