With AB InBev getting more creative on their strategy in mature markets, it's time for CAS members to prepare for a difficult future. How can we purchase hops together to both drive down costs and also limit over-purchasing risk? Can we develop retail concepts where multiple breweries self distribute to the same location - an alternating proprietorship model in the retail channel? How about marketing or sales activities in distant markets, could we split the costs of one person selling 5 CAS brands? We have equipment manufacturers in our membership, brewers, accountants, investors - but we are all entrepreneurs! Let's try acting like entrepreneurs... List your ideas below!
